Job Grade: D3 – Reporting to: Deputy Director
Job Purpose
The job holder will be charged with the responsibility of all routine human resource activities including recruitment and selection, salary processing and employees’ welfare.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assisting in recruitment and selection processes.
2. Secretariat to boards of inquiry, and disciplinary hearing meetings
3. Organizing training programs for employees.
4. Implementing health and safety programs.
5. Processing appointments, terminations and other related issues.
6. Capturing employee details into the HR System.
7. Attending to employee queries and grievances.
8. Processing of all types of leave.

Qualifications, experience, attributes and competences
1. A least degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
2. At least one-year post qualification experience.
3. Knowledge of labour legislation.
4. Proficiency in Human Resource Management Information Systems.
5. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
8. Computer literacy.
